The profile that delimits the protected marine area of the Sinis Peninsula – Mal di Ventre Island is characterized, towards the land, by a coast with valuable and, sometimes unique, leisure and environmental situations. In the low stretches of this coast, sandy and quartz grains of rare beauty have settled; in the high sections, imposing cliffs overlook the sea, acting as a belvedere towards the opposite island of Mal di Ventre in the north and the Catalan rock in the south.
The uniqueness of this part of Sardinia is provided by the extraordinary sensation of continuity between land and sea. Sinis di Cabras is an extraordinary condensate of human history and one of the most evocative syntheses of nature.
